Our Service & Refit operation has evolved to become one of the most experienced, trusted and sought after in the yachting industry. Formally established in 2013 in Palma de Mallorca, the epicentre of the Mediterranean yachting scene, it offers a holistic, wide-ranging service benefiting from 50 years of world class yacht building. It recognises owners’ needs for transparent reporting, efficient planning and technical expertise to keep their yachts in first class condition.

We are now strengthening our team in Palma de Mallorca and we are looking for a HEAD ACCOUNTANT to our financial delartment

You will be responsible for:

• Accounting and bookkeeping.
• Monthly preparation of Profit and Loss account and Balance Sheet.
• Reconciliation of accounts.
• Tax issues and tax related reporting.
• VAT/SII reporting.
• Banking administration.
• Assistance in the yearly audit.

You will also participate in travel administration and expense reporting. You will also work in close co-operation with the finance teams both in Palma and with our parent company in Finland and you are prepared to help where needed. The job description might be developed over time and extended to other tasks related to finance and administration.

Requirements and qualifications

• Good knowledge and previous experience in working with financials tasks and tax  reporting in Spain.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Highly motivated, organized, and structured.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred. Professional certification is an advantage.
